Armstrong TR21-12 gonna fixey ???

Hello, been lurking since last Sept. and love this place. Need our AC fixed before we hit our Canton Trade Day obsession here in TX with our new acqui sition.. Will be the first camping experience for our new for us '71 23' Safari LY. We've been vendors there since 1988 selling our recycled metal art. Creatures made from discarded metal pieces. "yard art" is the term by the locals. We've always camped there in a 1967 Trailblazer 17' single axle. She is now setting near us after being sold to another vendor. Sorry for hijacking my own thread. Can't figure out how to make pics thumbnails to avoid these huge pics. Must be settings in our Photobucket.
We are trying to repair the original AC. Yes, I've UT#SE and found many helpful tips.First test both the blower and coil fans worked and thermostat functioned properly. Compressor would not kick in,but would cycle on and off. No sickening groans. Called my HVAC guy that installed our new home unit and asked him to check it out. He charged system with R22 and found this thermal overload switch of Bakelight on compressor mount faulty ??, and bypassed it. Not a great idea I think.

Found noone locally, but me old enough to know what even Bakelight was; much less find replacement part nos. Have found other items through Grainger though to no avail. My AC guy thought the large fan start/run cap. was bad. No such item at Grainger yet. Both fans worked though so I dunno.
I did find one compressor start/run cap. and relay bad in curb side control module as follows in pic. Exact replacement on cap., but went with Supco variable potential relay. Still no go.
Prolly need to check all wiring on top unit for loose connections, but that's tough doing so on top of trailer. Arg!!!
Any and all comments welcome. If this unit ever gets fixed I'm going to list all part numbers for others. If not I'm going insane. Thanks all.
