Anyone ever put a wood stove in their trailer.

I was looking into putting a wood stove in the trailer when I get it back if anything it would be a small marine type size of a 20 quart cooler anyone ever do that.

Not that I know of.

Primary reason is that you would have to have a chimney, several feet above the top of the trailer.

It has been done. Check out Carlos Fergusons (JC FErguson) restoration thread on his 63. He did an outstanding job with it and he did put in the type of stove your talking about. I believe he has been happy with the results but you could contact him directly. Super nice guy. Ed

If you go to "marinestove.com", they have what you are looking for. There was a multiple page thread on rebuilding an AS, in which one of these stoves were used, do a search, I've lost track of the thread. The stove pipe need'nt extend much above the roof, because most of the needed length of stove pipe is inside the unit. when you need to move, remove the "charlie noble", and cap the pipe. If you can deal with fuel storage issues, and ash, etc; nothing can beat wood stove warmth in cold conditions, except for perhaps diesel. ie; dickenson stove.
