Sign me right up. I'm about to pull mine out and get busy with the dremel and the drill.

While you'll are waiting you might consider Loctite's Fun-tak or earthquake putty. Stays pliable for a long time. Just pull the register out, align the vents for maximum air flow and stuff a small bit of stuff in to hold the register in place. You can still rotate it as you like and you get as much airflow as possible. Works great for us. Even in 104 degree temps.

waiting for Godot

I'll hang out and wait for the results. Unless the data for a printer is available. My daughter and son in law in LA have a printer.

So for the past few days we have been testing our design and it works really good. The new registers can rotate as long as the stock Airstream holes are smooth. The registers seem to stick really well. But even if they did fall out they are so lightweight that it is harmless.

We are going to give the design to anybody who has a 3D printer.

Our hope is that the people here on the forums can work together and make registers, improve on our idea, and also learn how to use 3D printers.

Hello, Let me know what you need to send the printer file. Or if there is a site to go download. Thanks so much.

So I have the files.
Not sure how to distribute them.
Maybe email is best.
Lets try this: You send me a private message with your email and I will send the files to you. Then we will see how that works.

We have help our fellow streamer people who do not have access to 3D printer.

Also I'm not the most organized due to an over reaction to 1960's lifestyle. So be patient if I screw up.

Fun facts: My very helpful 3D printer guy who has made all this possible tells me that it takes 5 hours to make one. Costs only pennies.
