Air conditioner

I need to replace my 2005 Penguin AC. It hums when turned on but doesn't blow. Got a quote for $3K from the Airstream dealer.

Any suggestions on where to get it replaced for a better price?

Thanks!
Lisa

Sounds like the start capacitor has died. A $40 fix if you can do it. Probably an hours labor if you have it done.

What he said.

They only cost about $1000. $3000 is evil.
