Adjustable AC vents - ducted air

Does anyone know if the 2016 adjustable vents on the ducted air will fit the ducted air on a 2015? I believe the adjustable vents are standard on the 2016 FC and above. Can they be bought and fitted DIY?

Thanks.

Yes, they are the same size. Easy to retrofit. I think the cost is about $20 each from the factory.

These are specific Airstream parts so you will have to visit the factory and purchase them in person or order through a authorized Airstream dealer.

Mine were cheaper ($25) from the dealer than from the factory ($29). Shop around. We only wanted them over the bed. There are 12 ducts total but we are satisfied with 3 (2over my side of bed and 1 over hubby!).

The new bumper guards and threshold trim that are standard on ‘16s are also available as low cost add ons. I just ordered these for my ’15 from my dealer. These are only available from an Airstream Dealer and not directly from the Airstream web site.

My ’15 was built in May of ’15 and included the directional vents.

You can read this too. I put six in the lounge area to divert more ac to bedroom. We like them.
