A/C not draining properly

I recently installed a new Duo Therm on my 71 Sovereign. I ordered the drain pans for this unit and when it was shipped it came with a new gasket. I was under the impression I had to use the the original gasket and the new one shipped do to the thickness of the pans. I got the unit installed and now it will not drain correct to save my life! It runs down the front curb side.

The unit is obvisously heavier on the rear, how do you compensate for this? Am I suppose to brace it from the rear or just tighten it extra on the front bolts?

Any ides??

Thanks

How did you install the drain pan - with a gasket under it also? I just replace ours. The old drain pan was sealed around the opening with a wide bead of vulkem - no gasket. Then the a/c sat down in the pan with it's preattached gasket. On the rear of our new one - a strip of the gasket material runs across the back to add support.....
