23 D Serenity LOUD Air & Heat overhead unit

Just bought a new unit and were so smitten until we turned on the overhead heater. Nearly blew our ears off.

And I being the sensitive one, couldn't sleep all night, not even with earplugs.

Hubby turned on the unit heater that is run by propane and that solved that, however this summer we are going to have to live with the noise of the overhead air-conditoner.

How the heck does one tolerate the sound of both fan and compressor coming on and off? Even on low it sounds like an industrial fan. This is ridiculous. And its called a Serenity??? The frequency hitting my ears feels like torture.

Its so annoying that I am tempted to trade out the heater/AC unit for some quieter one if this exists.

Is it me or am I super sensitive? WOW what a bummer.
