2020 Classic 30 Alde - want hot water and no heat

Our Classic 30 with Alde has been operating reasonably well but the heat was used for a few days successfully. Now it has warmed up and heat is no longer needed so the temp was set to the low end (41F). Now I cannot get hot water, (with and without boost) without getting heat. The radiators and towel rack go to 86 F and 95F respectively. This is a problem in our normal hot summers. Any suggestions?

If the ALDE system is displaying that the glycol is heated, the problem is probably the regulator. You can bypass the regulator or replace it. To bypass, you need some pipe and Sharkbites (two connectors and one cap). First take a picture of the regulator connections for future reference. Cut the bottom white pipe going into the regulator and use a Sharkbite to cap it off. Next cut the two red pipes from the regulator and use a the pipe you bougth to make a connector (about 18"). Use the two shark bites to connect the red pipes together. All Done! You will get hot water now. You will still have cold and hot water. If you want a new regulator (ALDE THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE 3) go to https://www.leisureshopdirect.com Part number 275385. It is $75.00 compared to $250 in US. Why? It is from England. The shipping adds another $75.00, but I still saved $100.00. Hope this helps.

Seems like an odd problem, with two owners reporting same issue. At first, I thought maybe the Alde was still winterized, so no water was available to heat. That is an easy thing to check, with the valve lineup.

I would contact Alde/Truma customer support. I did a quick Google search for "Alde 3010/3020 heat, no hot water," and saw lots of threads.

Good luck, and please report your findings.
