1968 armstrong A/C repair

Is there a compressor available for my old A/C ? I would like to get it working again. the fan works, so does the hi/lo switch and the thermostat is ok too. only the lines are rusted through but thats an easy fix.

There is a compressor that is available, it is not cheap and with the cost on instillation it may be less expensive to replace the unit. There is info on replacement compressors in these old units on the forum, you will just have to search. You might check and make sure the starting capacitor is OK, it may not be the compressor.

in my '78 Argosy I have the Armstrong 10 which has just quit cooling. What part do I check to see if it is something else than the compressor (which is my first hypothesis)jjustice
