Tested the Magic Chef/Thanksgiving Dishes

My Magic Chef oven on my 1973 was tested today. We cooked monkey bread in the oven and it worked just great. I was amazed with how well it worked. The airstream smelled like sugar and bread when it was cooking. It did a great job.

Yum! Good test.

Now make something a little more challenging. How about some yams with marshmallow? Green bean "we call it hotdish" casserole?

If you're using the Airstream as a satellite kitchen this Thanksgiving, speak up!

There's a turkey breast in Lucy's oven as I speak. We are camped in SuEllyn's Dad's yard in Jacksonville. The oven in the house ran out of room with two turkey breasts in it, so Lucy has been pressed into service. We are also using Lucy's stove top burners and her microwave for parts of the Thanksgiving Dinner.

It's a gorgeous day here, sunny and in the low 70's.

We are already using the refrig. My wife works today so we will do the meal on Friday. The oven will definitely be used in the trailer. Thankfully we can store it next to our house.

We are here in the AS at Jackson Rancheria in CA. There are 5 other Airstreams here as a group and are part of the Santa Clara chapter of the WBCCI. I just put the stuffing in the oven to bake and will put the half turkey in to bake in about 20 minutes. My stomach is growling just thinking about it!! it's a beautiful day. Happy Thanksgiving!
