Swap Micro/Convection Over for gas oven?

I have a 2007 25FB Intl that I bought used from the original owners. The only problem with the AS is that it has a microwave/convection oven and gas cooktop rather than an oven. I will never use a microwave and primarily boon dock. I am really missing a good old stove with oven. Can this be replaced without the cabinetry looking all hacked up? Has anyone else done this?

Yes it can be replaced without a whole lot of grief. They charge big bucks at most dealers, but if you can find someone who wants a convection/microwave you could swap for virtually free. Try placing a classified here.

I have the opposite problem - I'd like the convection Mirowave. What I don't know is how we do the swap.

Sounds like an appliance swap rally is in order! I need to measure my AS that has an oven and see if it seems like it would fit the opening where my microwave/convection oven is. I like my Ocean Breeze cabinetry so need it to be a clean install.

I too am considering this in our 2011 FC. We have the standard convection/microwave and have used it but more as a microwave than convection oven.

Other than the cost of a new oven, is this a very expensive upgrade?
