Have not seen a post on this ....but our 06 safari stove top rods for hold ing pans etc. has always been a testy one for keeping small size pots from falling to an angle....my fix was to weld 1/4 inch steel rods (total of four) in the gap...as i recall cutting rods bought from our farm store in half fit perfect and a small weld at each end has life much better...works for me.

That's a GREAT idea - it shows clearly that the folks who make the stove (NOT Airstream) don't really use it!
