Stainless Splashguard
I want to install a splashguard behind my stove and on the adjoining bulkhead. The most important thing to me is to have a surface for magnetic road souvenirs. I would like to find patterned stainless reminescent of old diners but am open to suggestions. What gauge should I use? I can get 2 pieces of stainless locally but it would cost over $100 any other source suggestions?

some stainless alloys are magnetic. check with
Bralco Metals

The not so stainless stainless on the stove sticks magnets real good.

On our previous Airstream I installed aluminum truangles fro Carol Wright gifts (online). Apparently they have enough metal in them that we used magnets to hold the rally agenda

Any problem with the stickem getting unstuck. How long did you have em. I think they are pretty expensive?

I'd like to know too. Tonight at Lowes, one square foot of stick-on stainless is $20.00. STICKER SHOCK. Pardon the pun.

Heres a substitute for the stick on tiles. Used for covering refrigerators and dishwashers. Peel and Stick Soft Metal Films: softmetalfilm.com Comes in a magnetic and non-magnetic version.

Triangle Tiles
They are very inexpensive. I did not use the sticky poop that comes with the tiles. I used a silicone. They are still there and looking good after 2 years.
I am sure that I got them from Carol Wrights online catalog. They are a available either in triangle or squares and can easily be trimmed with scissors
