Has anyone ever put a residential oven, say a compact apartment range, in their Airstream before? They cost about as much as an "RV" range/oven, and I can't find any resources that tell me that this is a bad idea. So, what's the verdict? Good idea? Impractical? Dangerous?

AirstreamExp,
Residential 20" wide stoves were used in the 1950's and maybe up to the 1960's. We have a 20" apartment stove (made by Brown) in our 1954 Liner. Not the original, but period appropriate.

Airstream,
If you decide on a residential oven, make sure that it is retrofitted for propane. I think there is an orifice which needs to be changed.
