Microwave Drawer doesn't stay open

Hello all,

The microwave drawer in our 2010 International does not "click" into place when fully extended, allowing it to roll back into the cabinet - does anyone know if this drawer is supposed to lock?

It seems that it should since the microwave cuts off if it slides too far back into the cabinet.

Any suggestions on how to mod the drawer to semi-lock when using the microwave?

Our 2008 microwave drawer doesn't lock or click into place. It just stays open.

Silly question: How level is your trailer?

Thanks for the quick reply Cosmo!

I forgot to mention in my original post - We're level, but the drawer is really sensitive. I guess the ball bearings work a little too well It mainly slides around when we open and close the door.

So I suppose this is just the way it is supposed to be - sans click. Now that I know its working as Airstream intended, I'll try finding replacement hardware for the drawer slides that click into place.

Another Possibility

Greetings

Just a thought, check the "tension" on the power cord. Ours was a little too "tight" and with a bit of re-adjustment, it didn't retreat into the cabinet as it tended to originally.

Good Luck
