Magic Chef stovetop grommets
I need to replace a few of the siliconized grommets that hold the burner grates in place. These are specialized pieces as they are designed to withstand the intense heat. Regular hardware store variants will of course not work!
Anyone find a suitable replacement?

Thanks

I've gone into about 3 camping stores and asked for grommets - only to be met with a blank stare. As for little rubber xxxholes for the stove grate and NO Problem!

I did find some materials that work way better. However, I'm vacationing in New Zealand and don't have access to the info. I will post the info when I return late September.

Our 2008 Safari had these, and they never seemed to stay put. I found a couple of the washers around and in the stove but didn't connect them with the grommets! Our 2014 FC has fatter legs on the grate, so needs different ones. I wonder if I could order them from Airstream.

On my 2014 there is no metal washer in the grommet, I just pulled one out to look. Mine are original, 3 camping seasons old now. They have held up well for me so far. Probably Atwood changed the design by 2014 vs. the 2009 that you have.

I get my replacements from Colonial RV in NJ. Fast service and a fair price.

If you're back from that Vacation, can you post what you used? Those camco grommets are pure crap. If you're not back...that's awesome!
