Thumbs down Magic Chef hot valve
Anyone else have a center valve on the newer model sealed top Magic Chef that freezes up when it gets warm? Don't know if it's due to conduction through the sealed top when the stove has been on for some time, or if it's from hot air coming up from an open oven, but it's happened twice to me and several times to Airstrmgypsy. So it's not a unique problem to my stove.

The valve works fine when it cools down again.
