Anemic stove?

I don't really cook inside much except for coffee - don't like the smells in my sleeping area; but mostly the stove is really pathetic.

Anyone else find that the output of their stove too low do do any real cooking? It takes eons to make a mokapot of coffee for instance.

Is this a side effect of the low pressure propane system?

Are your flames burning blue? Or do you have yellow/orange mixed in? There are some adjustments that can be made, and if you don't have blue flames they won't be as hot and you'll be dumping noxious gases into your trailer.

We use a coffee perculator. It takes a lot of time to cook coffee. The BTU output of RV stoves is much less than a residential stove.

Hi

We've never had an issue with our stoves boiling water. They also do a fine job doing "other stuff".

Never had much issue. LP has more BTU than natural gas. I did find that the stove tended to take longer if the vent fan was on, but other than that, it's and RV stove and I have reasonable expectations.
