Water pooling in the bottom of 27fb 2015 Flying Cloud refrigerator...

Our 2015 FC Dometic fridge has begun pooling water in the bottom under the fresh food boxes at times and wonder if anyone has had this problem. What is causing that and how can we fix it? Thanks for any advice.

Is that a 3-way fridge? I havenít
experienced this problem in an airstream fridge but my spare basement 125v fridge did. It turned out to be a condensation drain line clog. Likely caused by ice. I unplugged/ turned off the fridge for 24hrs and then ran a section of copper wire up the condensation drain line. You may be able to fix the problem by allowing the fridge to fully defrost. Is there an access to the rear of your fridge?

Mine does the same thing! I would love to know this too. I keep a shamwow under the trays, wring it out before I travel, and wash it when I do wash. For now it works as a temp fix but I would rather just get it fixed.

I bet the cooling fins are dripping water like it should into the tray but the drain or hose is blocked and not dripping out like it should.

Open the fridge door on outside, see that hose that comes off of fridge and goes thru the floor to drip the water outside like it should.

Look for debris in the bottom of the drip tray and roll up your sleeves.

I had the same problem in my 25’ Flying Cloud. I found that the outlet nipple on the drip tray was not long/deep enough to carry the water far enough into the drain tube. so it was back flowing and dripping down the back of the fridge and puddling at the bottom under the draws. So I added a few inches of clear tubing onto the drain tray nipple to carry the water farther into the drain tube. And it worked. No more puddles.
