Replacement issues

My Safari had a Dometic RM60 that finally failed. After trying to revive it I decided to just find a replacement. Dometic list's the RM 2510 as the direct replacement and I found a decent one on Craigslist. My problem is that the 2510 is a little longer and aside from having to move the gas line over, (shouldnt be too hard), the fridge now sits mostly over the vent hole in the floor.
Has anyone made this replacement and can I expect it to affect the air circulation too much?
