When my refrigerator is supposed to be running on propane, it will not start. There is plenty of propane in the tanks, and there does not appear to be any air in the lines because I can run the burners on the stove without any flickering of the burners. I can hear the igniter intermittently firing several times, then stopping for several minutes before restarting. I looked behind the fridge and there is a grey wire which is not attached to anything, and when the igniter is going off, it will spark if in close contact to metal. It sounds like there is also an igniter going off close to where I assume the propane intake is located. The trailer is a 2005 safari LS 22 footer. Thanks for any help you can offer.
We've got a 2005 and the same thing happened - the fridge needed a new control panel. It required a trip to the dealer, but it was covered under warranty. They replaced it and it works fine now - hopefully your dealer (or a qualified Dometic dealer) is not too far away.

Check to make sure the cutoff valve hasn't lost a wire, it needs both to close the contacts, and open the valve. That could be where your grey wire goes. Also, check to see if the valve is getting power and ground, so it can open. If everything is hooked up, and it isn't working, you should probably take it to a place of repair.
