Bump for a similar issue. 2010 FC with OEM Dometic RM2451 fridge. I’ve checked the main 120v and there is power. I checked the resistance on the heater element and it looks good. I test the leads (J7 & J8) that the heater connects to and no power. Fridge works fine on LPG. All fuses appear to be fine. I’m no sparky but have a working knowledge of the basics. I have not pulled apart the circuit board itself. Anything else I should be checking before calling in the professionals and/or replacing the main panel? Thanks!

By fuses are you referring to the 12-volt distribution panel and/or small fuses in the fridge mechanical space? What about the 120-volt circuit breakers in the line voltage panel? Maybe the one for the fridge is tripped.

When you look inside the fridge's exterior mechanical space, is there a wire that plugs into a 120-volt outlet, and is there juice at that outlet?

Good luck,

Peter

Yup. 3A, 5A, and 15A GFCI breaker are all functioning. Power to the fridge outlet is fine. Sgschwend mentioned the thermostat (thermistor?), but I am unsure how that would affect 120V and not the LPG. From the wiring diagram I can’t tell what trips the LPG to start if there is no 120V detected. I suspect that if none of the external components are faulty, I’d better look at sourcing a new circuit board...

A new board would be my guess at this point also.

Have a great weekend!
