Refrigerator running?

I am running my refrigerator on lp and I can see a small blue flame burning in the bottom area of the ref rig in the lower access panel. Also the round tube going vertical from that is hot to the touch.

The blue flame is not raging though so just wondering if it is working. I just started it up a little over an hour ago...

That much seems all well and good, but is the plate on the inside getting cool/cold to the touch?
