Refrigerator circuit

I was attempting to install a mortise cylinder lock and in the process managed to short circuit my front area 12v lighting. The only wires nearby are the flood light & and over head door light. Whatís odd was the refrigerator stopped working too.

It was really late so I didnít go through the checks to see if one or more fuses got blown, but Iím curious why the refrigerator circuit would get tripped?

Might be on the same fuse. Not unusual.

That was it! ... but wasnít obvious. I replaced the obvious blown 20A fuse (at the top of my fuse stack) but that wasnít it. Then I decided to start down the stack replacing fuses. Fortunately it was the 2nd fuse.

Must have tapped the back of the flood light switch & the overhead door switch.
