Norcold Fridge not cold

Hi, I’m hoping for some DIY advice on my 2019 AS25FB. Ever since a below freezing weather cycle my Norcold won’t cool down. I tried turning the fridge off and on several times but nothing. Green light steady green. I unplugged the AC at the exterior access panel. Left off for several hours hoping it would reset itself. No luck. Orange light stayed steady, propane in abundance, still not cooling. Plugged the AC back in which still made no difference. I am hoping for some ideas that I might try. Thanks in advance. R

The controls are DC, so I don't see why unplugging only AC will reset it.
Maybe try disconnecting all power.

Hi, interesting answer. As I understand most RV fridges use 3 sources of power. Propane when off the grid. AC when shore power is hooked up and DC when running off house batteries. Although I also understand the for some functions of the fridge will convert AC to DC. What I am missing is an error code which should show up on the fridge door control panel, as a flashing light, but that does not happen, light always steady on. Thnx for replying. R

No, most absorption RV fridges(the kind you have, that can use propane) use 12v DC for the controls no converting AC to DC. They use AC for cooling power or propane for cooling power and a small percentage can also use 12v DC for cooling power. With this you would need to turn off 12v DC to reset controls.

The newer compressor fridges use 12v DC or 120v AC for cooling, no propane. Many of them actually convert 120v AC to 12v DC so really only cool with 12v DC. I believe they also will not run without 12v DC for the controls, not sure since I don't have one.
