New fridge burning smell

I've been running a new Dometic on electric with no problems for maybe 100 hours.

I just hooked up the propane and there is a burning smell, like burning paint.

I have the compartment open so it's not drafting thu the roof very well is this normal with a new unit?

Hi Bob -- I know that it is common that new furnaces need a burnout period so as not to be obnoxious inside the coach. I could imagine a similar issue with a fridge if it has never been operated on propane before. Are you principally smelling this outside?

I noticed the same smell with our new fridge, it is the paint burning off the flu around the burner.

That's kinda what I thought but since the side panel was off the smell was inside and outside.

Anyidea how this may take to burn in?
