Moldy freezer seal

When I put the trailer in winter storage I disinfected the fridge and kept the door open but I forgot to leave the freezer door open. So, I have a moldy freezer seal. What is the best product to use to clean the seal without harming it ?

John, The best thing to kill mold with is a mixture of bleach and water. Two parts bleach to Five parts water. That is a stronger mix than is normally recommended to kill black mold in homes but it works great and will not harm the seal. Then just use a mild cleaner like Lysol after the mold is dead to clean the seal and dry it thoroughly. Ed

Thanks Ed

I've got the Trotter back out on the South Shore, evacuated during the flood threat. I'll be out there this weekend getting it ready to head to Florida. If you are out that way and see me ,stop by.
