Looking for a good used fridge
Hello All,
Found this morning that our fridge in the tradewind is shot!(ammonia smell) Just wondering if anyone might have a good used one for sale, or where we might find one. Cannot afford a new one, but want to find one that will fit in the same space.
Thanks

The are four appliances I would not buy used, or re-build, for that matter:
a furnace, hot water heater, stove & especially, a fridge. Been there with
our Dometic fridge; lasted a year on a re-build.

It's a odd one, no freezer? It looks like a three-way. Have you checked with Camping
World to see if you can get a fresh one?

It has a small freezer. We are looking, not sure which way we will go at the moment.
Thanks for the replies!

Hello Silver
Did you consider getting a new cooling unit??? Camping World and other places sell them. Fraction of the new cost.
I have never used it but I am due. My fridge is a 1984 vintage. I keep putting rusy converter on the coils every spring.
Good Luck

Tammy, remember the "parade of fridges" we endured after getting a rebuilt fridge. I found it was better to bite the bullet, and get a new one with a new warranty the first time, rather than installing another fridge or cooling unit every other month.
