Installing Norcold 410
I am having a slight problem in that the depth of this unit (23-3/4") is deeper than my cabinet (23"). The cooling fins are hitting the curved outer wall. I have already lowered the fridge as far as I can within the opening. It now sits just above the wheel well. All modern fridges seem to be 24" deep and I suspect my original Marvel fridge (long gone) was less.
Seems to me I have the following options:
1. Modify cooling fins (seems like a bad plan)
2. Make cutout in inner skin (also not my favorite idea).
3. Add some trim pieces to the cabinet to allow the fridge to sit proud of the cabinet face.
I am currently attempting option 3, which brings me to my next question. Norcold manual says to remove door and insert screws through flange and "into wall".
Are these screws vertical or horizontal?
At the bottom flange only?
Anyone have installation photos? Diagram in the manual is not very helpful.
Thanks!
