Identify this Dometic.. please

As the summer winds down for some, our is just starting. I am trying to get a door seal for this Dometic, but cannot find any identifying marks. It is in a recently bought 1978 Argosy, but the hand-made frame it sit on makes me think it was installed by a PO, not original equipment. Can anyone help identify it? Any help is appreciated.
I have ordered a new magnetic seal that I think will fit, from McMaster Carr. The last one I ordered was too tall (dimension between door and fridge front), and it scraped and folded as the door open and shut. This one is less "tall" and looks more like the old one that was falling apart.

I figure this may take some nickles and dimes, but it beats the $1200 it would take to get a new one...
Thanks!
MIKO

Looks to me like an RM 66 model.
The controls are the same as my RM 66. The back looks slightly different. But mine is a '74 model.

It is original, the frame it sits on is factory original too, does look home made though.

Thank you

I was surprised to hear that this frame was original....and Many thanks to you both for the feedback!

Do you know if there was a kind of latch associated with this kind of fridge? If the door hinge is on the left (as shown) there is an associated bracket installed (not shown, since I couldn't make the holes match with anything and make sense..) on the right side, top, where a hinge might go.

I would appreciate knowing what THAT was for!

Enjoy the summer!

There is a latch assembly which pivots out to hold the door closed. The one on my refer is made of plastic. It swings out of the way to open the door, then pivots over the top/front edge of the door when closed and locked.
If you send me your email address. I will take pics and send them to you.

Mine had an aftermarket latch that used to be commonly sold for RV refrigerators prior to the manufactures putting good ones on as standard equipment. That may be what you have, vintage '70's aftermarket. Two holes and screws held mine on the frame of the refrigerator, and it had a spring plastic with a head that griped the front of the door to keep if from flying open. You pushed it to the side and pulled on the door to open, then when closing the door it had a wedge which moved it out of the way to close.

Hey, that's hysterical, that looks just like my fridge did two days ago before I started restoring it. Now I think I know what the little line of key holes in my door are. Egg holder right? To bad mine is AWOL.

I tried to find my latch to take a picture for you, but I apparently forgot to put it in the baggie full of all the fridge hardware.

SignLady,
I tried to use the latch I ordered, and it won't work! The front frame is bowed to the point where the door edge isn't close enough to seal like it used to. Also, I am using a generic door seal that I ordered from McMasterCarr, and had to "trim" to make it fit (The replacement seal from Dometic is WAY too expensive for me). So, I have a latch lever that I will sell you for...what it cost me. I'll post the pn if you'd like.

We used the clasp two weeks ago so I know for sure it is in there somewhere. It's just misplaced in the reno zone ;-)
