How to remove Dometic reefer trim for painting?

I have lost a wonderful thread in which someone had cleaned and painted trim a Dometic that looked like our '83 (3-way with freezer above). It works fine. I want to use the Alsa mock stainless adhesive sheeting to re-face ours. I think it is too heavy to push the edges under the trim as you might with contact paper, so I need to remove the trim. I see a couple of screws that would remove the plastic logo piece, but don't see how to get the anodized copper-look trim off the doors. While I am at it, I want to paint that black.

Can anyone point me to that thread? Any ideas on what paint to use?

Thanks!

If you are asking how to remove the trim panel from the center of the doors, take the top plastic piece off the top of each door, bow out the trim in the center, and pull up. The trim piece will slide right out.
