How to remove Dometic reefer trim for painting?
I have lost a wonderful thread in which someone had cleaned and painted trim a Dometic that looked like our '83 (3-way with freezer above). It works fine. I want to use the Alsa mock stainless adhesive sheeting to re-face ours. I think it is too heavy to push the edges under the trim as you might with contact paper, so I need to remove the trim. I see a couple of screws that would remove the plastic logo piece, but don't see how to get the anodized copper-look trim off the doors. While I am at it, I want to paint that black.
Can anyone point me to that thread? Any ideas on what paint to use?
Thanks!
