This link leads to the Dometic "replacing old model with current model" chart which has all the size measurements. It could be handy info.

That's My Fridge!

My 72 Trade Wind refrigerator looks exactly the same. You'll know the electrical works when the ice box fills with frost! Since most campsites have electrical connections, you'll be fine there.

When you're boondocking, however, you really don't need a freezer, but you do need it to cool, so shove a few bags of ice in there and call it "cool". Ice is cheap and you know what a replacement refrigerator costs.
I've never even considered turning on the propane option on mine, and at this pint, probably never will. I'm comfortable with an open gas flame in my oven, but in the wall behind the refrigerator? Nope!

That’s MY fridge.

We had that fridge in our 70 overlander. It worked great. My husband had to mcgyver the rolly starter wand. Our 1986 auto-switching dometic is easier to use, but not as simple to fix when it comes to that.

I like old things (see, spouse) and I think this fridge is pretty. A nice piece of veneer panel used in the door. If you do want to chase an original look, you can play w that door in front of whatever fridge you use. I’ve seen it done to handsome effect. Love those klassy blue plastic shelves, I do.

We love our propane fridges. Use a trace of fuel, and boondocking friendly w our agm batteries. We usually camp sans hookup.
