Fridge Vent cooling mods?

I want to add a couple or even 3 cooling fans to my upper outside vent to help move more air but there are loads of them on Amazon, even some that are made for the purpose but pricey and poor reviews. If anyone has done this I would be interested to know which fans you used, my vents only have holes at the top and bottom of each vent (see pics), I wish there was another row in the middle instead of 3" of solid plastic. I will need to use 120mm fans and angle them into one of the vent areas. There is presently one 4" fan down under the upper fins on the rear of the unit but it is quite anemic.
My other option is to install a roof vent but there is not much room depth wise, maybe 2.5" but I could go with something oblong maybe 2" x 12" to fit a curved roof but would still want a fan or two.

There are lots of threads with many alternative solutions on the forum. I suggest you put “refrigerator fans” in the search box above and you will find what you need.

Thumbs up

That excellent search function may not be, or as easy to use, on the AF App IMO, so here are those search results Brian FYI:

Hope your trip is continuing to go well.

Thanks for the suggestion, I think I am going to go with Troutboy's design: https://www.airforums.com/forums/f42...ds-166096.html

Not sure if this is how you tag a member but here goes:
