I have a 2015 25' Rear bedroom Serenity. The fridge was recently replaced with a new one. The fridge is vented through the side of the trailer rather than through the roof. An exhaust fan is mounted in side compartment behind the fridge and is thermostat controlled. The fridge generally runs at 39 to 42 degrees even when OAT is below 20 Celcius and the louvered panel is propped open. This seems quite high. What are others experiencing? Any suggestions on how to lower the operating temp of the fridge? Could the thermostat be at fault? Thanks for any help.
Mine got significantly colder when I slid the temperature probe up to the top of the fin it was mounted on.

I assume that the fan in the outside compartment actually runs?
We had a similar problem and found that the fan was only running intermittently when triggered by the thermostat, and would grind to a halt after a few seconds. We replaced the fan (and the thermostat) and haven't had the fridge go above 42 since then.
