Wink Freezing refrigerator

My refrigerator freezes my milk or anything liquid no matter how low the thermostat is turned It is a dometic in a 1980 International. Also is there anywhere I can get a owners manual for my camper?

Me too, Mine only freezes when plugged in to shore power though. Is there any common failure of the thermostat and is that part replacable? I guess too cold is better than too warm.

We had the exact same problem last fall heading out to Yellowstone. We ened up turning it on during the day and off at night since we were on the road. Heading back East we stopped in JC for a few days to catch up with a few of our AS friends and they checked it out while we were there. First they replaced the temp probe, easiest and cheapest part to try first. After five hours of running we were freezing again so they them replaced the whole board.

Stanm,

Rick beat me to it. I was going to say to replace the thermistor (temp sensor) that is attached to the fins at the back inside the refer box first. They can be tested for proper response and I can look up the spec for you if you like. If that doesn't work, the culprit is usually a bad I/C in the control board, and that goes next!
