Well I know there’s a ton of posts about he noisy stock refer fan and I’ve read most of them! I want to thank this forum the ideas on fan replacement ideas, mounting, etc.
Here’s my home made install, two aluminum angle iron brackets cut out for fan blade I take radius. I put a couple shims up top so the fan angle would pull air out the door louvers. Used the rubber isolator attach pins and no screws. Small tie wraps join them together (very tastiest and the rubber end pieces touching really help with vibration. Added a cheap NAPA toggle if I ever have a need to turn them off.
They are whisper quiet!
