Dumb question, but even dumber not to ask...
Can anyone tell me what this switch is for? We just bought a 2018 22FB Sport a couple of months ago and I have read everything thoroughly but can't find anything specific for this switch mounted just to the back right side of our refrigerator.
I know it has some relevance to the fridge fan, but not sure. We are still learning on everything AS but this one has me stumped!
Thx!

Your refrigerator cooling fan does not turn on or off automatically. You have to control the fan yourself. I always left my switch “on”.

turn it on and listen for the fan whipping the air... i wouldn't know since I am deaf. I just open the panel outside and check. sometimes I would feel for blowing air through between reefer and cabinet to see if its working.

I did do just that! I can hear it quietly blowing the air from the outside panel.
Felt a little stupid that I couldn't figure this one out for myself, but I was on the right path and appreciate everyone's quick response!

Glad to know I’m not alone. Could not figure out what a refer switch could. A better abbreviation might have been refrig switch. Documentation says to turn it on when it’s 80 degrees or hotter outside.

2018 Refrig switch
I also have a 2018 but mine is the 27’ Int’l Signature. I do not find that switch any where in my unit? If someone has the same unit as mine, do you have this switch and if so where?

Does your trailer have 2 vent grates outside of fridge or 1 at bottom and a roof vent?
If you have a roof vent you don't need the fan.(Well at least not enough for Airstream to install it.)

We have the 2019 22FB. I leave the switch on if we are camping when it's warm, but if it's early spring or late fall and chilly outside, it usually doesn't need it.

I found the small 12VDC fan it activates behind the exterior lower refrigerator vent. Mine blows air upward toward the finned heat ex-changer.
It only runs when the a thermostat on the 'finned' heat ex-changer gets too hot and the switch is in the 'on' position. I watched how it worked on a hot day and decided to add a second fan near the 'finned' heat ex-changer to blow air out the upper vent. It is wired into the same 12VDC circuit as the OEM fan. It works great. Occasionally, I just open the top vent on my 22FB. It stays open by itself. This allows air to flow freely through the compartment.

I have a silly question. I tried changing out my rocker switch in bathroom, connected wires where I thought they went and now my water heater doesn’t work!

Check for blown fuse. If ok, get multimeter and check for power on 12 volt leads. One should have power. If power there, bad switch or bad ground.
