Dometic RM3807 Refrig Diode problem?

I have a 95 34' AS and have been told a faulty Diode is behind the refrig gas operation problem. The refrig has worked great for 10 years but always electric. There is gas and the refrig "tries" to light for a few minutes and then goes to 'check' mode. I have a good set of manuals and they don't even show a 'diode'. The repair shop said they have looked at several sources and couldn't locate a replacement diode. I see electrode but no diode

Does anyone have experience with this problem or a source of a replacement diode and possibly what the 1995 name is for same.

If any of the electronics are failing, the usual approach is to replace the entire circuit board assembly. Usually people use the aftermarket replacements from Dinosaur Electronics, which are said to work better and are cheaper.
