I think the main problem was the cam operated rotary switch had fallen apart. I don't know the exact reason. But
12v was not being delivered to the gas valve. I "assume" propane pressure is okay in the trailer. We have a water heater, a two burner stove, a catalytic heater and the fridge. The fridge used to work on gas just fine. But I've learned I need to do more low pressure testing.
The problems after that were my doing. I assumed continuous sparking was a defect. I assumed my gas shutoff valve leaking was a valve problem, not a high pressure problem. I assumed my old regulator was working without checking it.
But you folks helped me out a bunch and I thank you. It takes a village.
