Dometic M#3801 door seal

We have an '89 345LE motorhome. We were having problems with the dometic door sealing. A new door seal ordered from Dometic and installed per their instructions and 4 days later the seal fell off. The repair shop has tried several different adhesives which have failed. Dometic said that this happens and they had no answer for the problem. Any suggestions? Thank you

Use 3M super weatherstrip adhesive # 3M8008

If yellow adhesive was used, I am surprised it stayed on that long.

Wanted to let all know that the gaskets on the Dometic are working fine now thanks to some hard work by our RV repair shop and us. Also, Dometic reimbursed us for our initial outlay. The answer to the problem came from the manufacturer of the gaskets who outlined for the repair shop exactly what to do and what adhesive to use. It was a long and arduous research problem.
