Dometic flint-wheel / igniter

guess I'm the only southerner working on his fridge about now..

seems to be working beautifully (warm weather - cold beer) but the "flint ignitor" wheel has rubbed down from sharp, fine ribs to an almost-smooth condition. hence, little or no spark even with a new flint. had to light burner with a match.

any ideas appreciated for repair or replacement of the wheel.

You can replace it with one of those electric spark generators they use for barbarques. I have also used one of those long nose fireplace lighters.

I've looked for one of these battery-powered BBQ ignitors and can't seem to find them. Where?

Those spark generators are not battery powered, they make their own power.
ONWARD MULTI 20610 PIEZO UNIVERSAL IGNITION KIT

I have seen them in Home Depot, Lowes and other places.
