Dometic Extended Warranty Yes or No ?

My 2005 Safari is new so I registered all the appliance as I should. I just received a extended warranty officer from Dometic as follows.

AC is in warranty until 4-14-2009
1 additional year $39.95
3 additional years $104.90

Refer
1 additional year $72.15
3 additional years $189.30

Has anyone done this and is it worth it on a unit only used maybe 30 days a year? What are your opinions and experiences ?

Thanks Jim

I never get extended warranties on anything, although if I bought a new Airstream I would strongly consider one. Just from reading the forums and talking to new owners (leaks seem to be the biggest problem), might be short money in the long run. The refer: A neighbor who owns SOB just three years old but the Dometic 3 year warranty has just expired, turns the refer on the night before their Independence Day week vacation - first outing for the year. A couple hours later, nice and cold, load it and ready to leave in the AM. Next morning, it's a balmy 70F. Pilot lights, switches over to electric, heater is operating, but no cooling. RV repair speculates condensing unit $$$, but recommends replacing the whole fridge $$$$. He's weighing his options. My opinion, and based only on gut feel, save your money on the AC and strongly think about the refer. Six years of insurance for
