Dometic 360 not working on gas mode.

The Dometic 360 in my 1964 Bambi II works fine in the AC electric mode. However I can not get it to fire up on gas. I am clueless with these things and have no idea where to start. Any suggestions on where to begin would be highly appriciated.
PS: I was only used in electric mode for the past 13 years by the PO.

Do you have gas to the refer? Can you light the burner by hand? Will it stay lit or go out when you release the over ride button?

Tanks are full and the gas valve is open. How do I light it by hand? I don't see a spot where that looks possible.

Dometic Service manual

Michael,
Take a look at this manual and see if anything on the gas side looks like yours. Try to follow the trouble shooting guide
It may help you figure things out.
Regards,
Joe

Joe, I have been through all the manuals, I think I am going to have to break down and have one of the shops take a look at it. I hate doing that because I bet it is something very simple that I am just not seeing.
