Dometic 2820 shipping question

Hello:

I purchased a nearly new 2820 in my hometown. My sister-in-law has offered to bring it to my place 1,000 miles away in her mini van. Can I lay this unit on it's face or either side for the trip to my house?

Thanks,

I laid our new fridge on its side for the trip home. Just make sure it has something to cushion it, and don't let anyone lay it on its front or back. Laying it on the front can damage the doors, and I'm sure you know what happens when you lay it on the cooling unit.
