I do not have a wiring diagram for my '19 International 25 FBT refrigerator. How did you wire your fan set up?

I installed dual low speed computer fans under the roof vent. I wired it in using the stock thermistor and added an override switch that I powered from the 12VDC that powers the fridge. In case the thermistor craps out or I see fridge warming when hot out, I can then flip switch to manually power fans. They are way quieter than the 1 OE high speed fan and move a substantial amount of air.

At the top…

I just finished installing mine. Put them at the top of the chimney under the cap. As close as I could get to the heat exchanger without pulling the fridge… and when I do that I’ll just add baffles to direct all the flow over the heat exchanger. That should be a simple mod.

All of this is just dealing with the fact that the Airstream chimney design is not within manufacturer spec and is not adequate.

I added the chimney fans. What a difference.

Two days ago the high here was 102. Temp inside the trailer was 80. Temp inside the fridge was 40. Freezer was -3.

Yesterday I turned the AC off on the trailer. High was 106. When I went to turn the AC back on in the evening, temp inside the trailer was 97. Inside the fridge was 49. That’s running very close to Dometic specs.

Just added a fan

I bought a titan fan from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HHRHHH6...roduct_details ). This weekend it worked great with 111 heat index in Texas. Once the fridge got cold (about 8 hours) it stayed cold (37-38F). We had some shade and I did prop open the outside door a bit, but the fan worked great. I used these splices (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077YB123S...roduct_details) to tap into the 12V power going into the fridge controls. Very easy. I did not run the fan control switch inside. I just zip tied it in the outside box and use manual controls. The fan comes with some mounting brackets.

It is two wires going into the back of the fridge. See my reply below. I used some very easy connectors from Amazon.

Quick question: in one pic you have attached two red wires to leads that are directly on your radiator. Do those supply power to the fans? I have a similar structure on my radiator but nothing is attached to it or ever has been attached to it as far as I know.

Does no one have the original vent that goes through the floor? Trying to figure this one out in my 1970 Safari. Got the fans I wanted. Just deciding about mounting location on / near my Dometic. And if anyone has an idea for the flue through the floor.
