1959 dometic fridge

Hi, i live in France and i just bought a 1959 globetrotter who need a complete restoration, with a dometic fridge. It works only with gaz but the gaz line must be completely redone.

I wonder if i will keep this original fridge or find a period correct electric fridge.


First, i have to test it but i don’t know how it works....
What must i do to light it on ?

If you use the forums Search function and look for the word Klixon, it will bring up a bunch of info on those old fridges including a few threads with the owners manual.
