12 volt compressor fridge problem

We are on our maiden voyage in our 2023 globetrotter. The 12volt electric only compressor fridge won’t stay below 44 degrees. We tried defrosting. Still not doing the job any ideas? Thanks

How long was it on prior to starting your trip? Did it get down to 40 before you loaded food in, or did you load products in while it was still cooling?

What’s the outside temperature?

Any difference when you’re on shore power vs batteries?

Check the night operation switch, maybe you accidentally switched it.

It should definitely be able to stay cooler than that. Check the ventilation around the fridge to be sure that the places for air flow are clear. If that isn't the problem, it sounds like a warranty issue.

Current temp is 35.4. Which is good. We turned it to setting 5 and took out the upper drip pan. Lessons learned. Don’t overload and pre cool. Turning it colder doesn’t always help. Thanks to all that replied.

We find ours works best when we leave a little space in the back for air circulation, beer in the back, lettuce in the front.
Good luck, Mark D
