Hold do you empty the fresh water tank? The manual says to run the water pump, but that seems like a lot of stress on the pump. There are two valves that are very corroded underneath the camper. I managed to turn the handles on them, but nothing comes out.
If there is no drain valve on the tank (and there probably isnt, mine doesnt have one) those other two valves are to drain the hot and cold lines coming down from the faucet. You should also have some drain valves in the back by the water heater.
Only way to get the water out is to use the pump, its not anything it cant handle unless its already on its last legs. If the tank has never been dropped, you might be surprised as to what might be in there. Mine was full of black gunk. At the very least I would drain it and put some bleach in there, let it sit then drain it out again. You should also have some sort of strainer on the pump output, that may get clogged fairly quickly.
