Replacing Univolt

Finally talked the electrical expert into replacing the original Univolt. Would someone just tell me exactly what to order to get a new one? We want to use AGMs in the future. There must be something most folks like best.

Appreciate input

1973 Safari with few updates.

I used an Intellipower 45 amp 3 stage converter. Should work unless the trailer has a lot of electronics. Also used the old Univolt's fuse panel.

This is like asking what's the best tow vehicle and what are the best tires. Lots of choices and opinions.
You can check out best converter .com they have lots of options. Randy?(sorry it's late terrible remembering names sometimes) Has a great reputation. You can stay simple or go crazy.

That's an interesting way to do it!

I used same converter. Intellipower 9245, but replaced the univolt and not so original fuse panel with a blue sea systems fuse block. Excellent number of circuits. And separate negative bus. Made for nice install.
