The Song Remains the Same?

Not on the road, but it was a good day music wise.

Eight hours of this......

Funny there's a stairway to Heaven but a highway to hell. I suppose they were built according to traffic expectations.

Gearheart, what would you call people who do this every day: optimistic?

Fish Belly Black

Badass percussions, tight horns and just a great all round jam. Really like the Hammond B3 organ. Certainly don't hear them anymore. Was playing when camping one time and the neighbor came over and told me to turn that "Sh!#$t UP, he couldn't hear it very well at his site. Surprised me!

Lockn Festival

6 weeks away from the Lockn festival in Arrington VA. Its almost like a who's NOT going to be there festival. What a lineup. I just hope like heck Little Feat plays Willin.
I hope I'm not going to be the only AS there. Just because I'm in my fifties doesn't mean I can't rock n roll!
Anyone else coming?

I think Little Feat with Craig Fuller ( from Pure Prairie League ) was awesome too. What I liked about both versions of the band, was the drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals, and songs. ha ha. I'm not so proud, that I am proud of this but….I touched their tour bus.

From Lockn

So glad I saw this show in-person. Man oh man...If this doesn't get you tapping your feet, you aint human! Tony Leone on drums...what an ACTIVE drummer. He keeps it rocking! With a percussionist in the family, it's pretty easy to see what I am talking about. Anders Osborne's lyrics are SO real!

Mark Farner

Just about anything from Mark Farner or the ORIGINAL Grand Funk RAILROAD!!!! What a powerhouse he is!!!!

Had the pleasure of seeing him in Bartlesville, OK (Home of Phillips Petroleum) of all places back in the mid 80's. I was 5 or 10 feet from him, just a rockin' away!!! Rock on, Mark Farner!!!

My all-time favorite.... go to 13:23 in that video (I dare you....volume WAYYYY UP!!!! Not for the faint of heart). They don't make it like that anymore.
